Well, I look forward to your finishing touches and a background, but other than that, I can't think of any problems with the piece. It's well executed up to this point, and really I don't see any reason to alter it further...except, maybe for that background. Maybe.

I think it's great, particularly the HK416, looks so detailed that it seems like you just pasted a picture right in the illustration, but at the same it fits perfectly with Castle's posing and perspective. If I'd change anything it'd be the pouches on his tac-vest, they don't seem thick enough to house and M-16 GI Steel magazines. But otherwise, it's great. Top notch work.

yeah I used a picture of a 416 for reference, guns are so much easier for me to render than people. if i spent as much time rendering the guns as i do with everything else it would probably be a much better piece. I was originally going to have him holding some sort of submachine gun, hence the small mag pouches. I thought he need some more fire power so I went with the 416 instead.

i just now saw the movie. it was freakin awsome! all the gore and quotes. i love the ending. "ewww...now i have brain splatter all over me." omfg lol

Did you like War Zone? Just asking. i wasn't too big on it to be quite honest, and I was more then upset over the fact that they pretty much dumbed down the character for that movie. Yes, I am aware that a lot of the fans didn't like the one with Thomas Jane, but to be quite honest and fair, i loved it. Yes, Thomas Jane wasn't the same height or build or didn't look anything like the Punisher(which i will give Ray Stevenson props for), but he did portray the tactically-oriented mentality, the psychology and the attitude of the Punisher very well. Plus, at least with that movie, they stuck with Frank Castle's military training and didn't have him hanging upside down from chandlers, blindly charging into a crime lord's house and not bothering to take out the backup generator, and doing other crazy over the top shit. Plus, I didn't like the whole introduction of Microchip, which I also felt ruined that movie for me; among other things.

If you liked it, hey, not gonna fault ya for that. Just thought I'd get your opinion. Aside from that, I love the detail as usual, and Frank's dour expression, which pretty much sold it for me.
